Painted Tree Marketplace recently opened in Memphis off of Germantown Parkway in The Commons of Wolfcreek shopping center.
Similar to our beloved Sheffield’s in Collierville, Painted Tree is a large 39,000 sq/ft. building warehouse with 100+ local and southern vendors with booths set up throughout rather than antiques. This is your dream, one-stop gift shop where you can find bargain pieces as well as upscale farmhouse decor, with modern styles sprinkled throughout.
WHO ARE THESE NEW GUYS?
With other locations in Arkansas and Texas, the original being in West Little Rock, Arkansas, Memphis lucked out on being their first venture in Tennessee! I mean, we do know a thing or two about Southern charm ;). Painted Tree originated from a collaboration between two families who wanted to create something different than a flea market, but a single space to create community through vendors and customers.
WORKSHOPS?!
Heck to the yes. Being one of the few Annie Sloan chalk paint carriers around, they have a workshop called “Annie Sloan 101”, teaching you how to use her products. Additionally, they provide flower arranging and canvas oil painting workshops where you can bring your own pieces to paint. In fact, their next oil painting workshop is happening this weekend!
Sign up to try things out behind the camera at their Photography Workshop on Saturday (3/30).
BECOME A VENDOR!
With a focus on quality products, quality people, and quality experiences, Painted Tree Martketplace is highly selective with their featured vendors. If you are interested in joining the Painted Tree family, you can apply through their website at paintedtreemarketplace.com/vendors.
