One of the newest dessert shops in Memphis just opened their doors! Zio Matto Gelato is a delightful new frozen treat store on Main Street. From dozens of delicious handmade gelato flavors to scrumptious extra-large macaroons, Zio Matto is guaranteed to leave your sweet tooth satisfied!

Ever had a milkshake topped with cookie dough AND rock candy? At Milk Dessert Bar, they don’t play around! With triple scoops, custom cakes, edible cookie dough, and more, they are making ice cream dreams come true. 

Italian Ice Cream + Midtown = A Match Made in Heaven. Nestled in the heart of Crosstown Concourse, Sweet Magnolia Gelato Co. offers an award-winning rotation of flavors so good you won’t think twice about adding an extra scoop to your cup or cone. Check them out in the main atrium!

Mempops has more flavors than you can count—including fruit-based and cream-based popsicles that will cool you down. Keep an eye out for the pop-up carts and trucks that make their way to all the biggest spots in Memphis—from music festivals to Shelby Farms! You can even book an event and have them cater your summer activity.

As a regular stomping ground for the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Arcade Restaurant is a Memphis mainstay. They’ve got tasty brunch, lunch, and dinner options. And for dessert, they serve ice cream and boozy milkshakes to keep the party rocking!

Jerry’s Snow Cones simply hits different. Maybe it’s the 70+ flavors. Maybe it’s the snow cone supreme with the ice cream filling. Maybe it’s the menu stacked with feel-good foods like burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, churros, hot dogs, and more. Whatever it is, this Memphis staple will keep you coming back all summer!

As the last remaining original business on Beale Street—and one of the oldest stores in the Mid-South—A. Schwab offers old fashioned milkshakes and floats that’ll take you back in time! If it’s 150 years old, you know it’s gotta be good. We suggest a strawberry or chocolate malt to start. Or you could grab one of their super tasty adult milkshakes!

Margie’s is a delightful cow-themed confectionary that’s bringing homemade ice cream to Bluff City. Want a scoop? They’ve got you. Need an ice cream cake? Go for it! They’ve also got ice cream donuts, chocolate covered strawberries, and even more chilly treats to eat.

Have you ever seen a more beautiful dessert? With more than fifty featured flavors of snow cones, snowballs, and milkshakes, Micco’s brings some delicious New Orleans-style goodies to Memphis!

Dial up your dentist! Quintessential Sweets has it all. They’ve got frozen sweets like ice cream pie, kosher flavored snow, and homemade scoops. They’ve got signature sweets like cheesecakes, butter bars, and chocolate covered Oreos. There’s no shortage of delectable and creative sweets to be found here!

Sweet Noshings already gives everyone a run for their money when it comes to local candy shops. The cherry on top? Their ice cream menu packs a punch! They’ve got a wide variety of flavors, including spicy adult flavors like Jack Daniels Honey, Bourbon Chocolate, and Red Wine Berry Sangria!

At Sugar Ghost, there are no tricks… just plenty of treats to go around. With flavors like Lavender Honey and Bubble Tea floats with popping peals, you’ll surely scream for their ice cream!

When it comes to authentic Mexican desserts, La Michoacana doesn’t miss with their menu of fresh fruit paletas, homemade ice cream, aqua frescas, and fruity cocktails. Good news: there are five locations stretched across the city! That way, you’re never too far away from satisfying your craving for a sweet treat. 

If you’re over 21, head over to Slider Inn immediately and grab their delicious Jameson Slushie. Made from slushed ice, Peychaud’s bitters, homemade lemonade, and Irish whiskey, this delicacy is as refreshing to drink as anything you can find in our city. Looking for something less buzzy? They also serve top-tier homemade ice cream!

P.S. Slider Inn’s sister restaurant Aldo’s Pizza serves ice cream and root beer floats at both locations! Check them out while you’re out on the town. 

Between the milk teas, ice cream, yogurt drinks, and slushes, Poke World is jam-packed with frozen treats that’ll keep you cool. Make it a full meal by adding on a build-your-own poke bowl. Poke World has multiple locations, one in East Memphis and another in Cordova!
