Memphis gets a lot of visitors every year (10 million, to be exact!), so we’re thankful that the city has provided countless fun and interesting activities for its guests to enjoy. Legendary food, endlessly fascinating museums, and even the Peabody ducks mean that you’ll have plenty to do once you get here.

The Peabody Ducks
At 11:00 am and 5:00 pm each day, the elevator doors in the historic Peabody Hotel open up to reveal a parade featuring the world’s most famous ducks! Led by the hotel’s resident duckmasters, the ducks march to the fountain in the center of the room to spend a few minutes chilling near all the guests!
Watching the march of the Peabody Ducks has become a classic Memphis attraction, so it’s worth that paying them a visit when you’re here!
Overton Park Shell
Formerly known as the Levitt Shell and home to one of Elvis’ first performances, the Overton Park Shell is a legendary concert venue known the world over.
With plenty of room for guests to set up picnic blankets and chairs, there is no question that the Shell is ideal for an outing with friends. The Shell always books high-caliber artists from Memphis and beyond, so they never fail to put on a good show.
This year, the Overton Park Shell has electrified the Memphis music scene with its Orion Free Concert Series. It’s completely free for all guests, and there are concerts through the rest of the year! If Memphis leaves a lasting impression on you, it’s likely your trip to the Shell will have played a part.
Memphis Grizzlies
After the end of last season, how could you not want to watch a Memphis Grizzlies game in person? Not only do the excite on the court, but the Grizzlies have managed to electrify the rest of the city as well. The energy surrounding the Grizz is palpable.
