Halloween is almost here, and for families, it can be a challenging time trying to find activities that are both fun and age-appropriate for the little ones. Lucky for those of us who live in Memphis, this city has plenty of events and happenings that are just perfect for a family-friendly Halloween! From pumpkin patches to hayrides, and even trunk-or-treats, you won’t want to miss out on the Halloween festivities.

Halloween Spectacular

October 28th

The one-day Halloween Spooktacular event at the Children’s Museum of Memphis brings all the not-so-spooky fun. It’s all treats and no tricks at this must-do annual festival for the family.

Experience spooky science projects, a mini clay pumpkin sculpting station, Halloween crafts, a temporary tattoo station, face painting stations, free carousel rides, Halloween candy, music provided by DJ Carson, and a scavenger hunt.

Give your kiddos pumpkin to talk about this Halloween! Join the Memphis Botanic Garden for this not-so-spooky celebration featuring friendly Halloween characters, music to boogie-man down to, and some hair-raising fun at the Memphis Boo-tanic Garden.
