Moziah Bridges Debuts Pattern for Success in New Book

Memphis kidpreneur, Moziah Bridges, has built a successful business selling custom-made bow ties since he was 9-years-old. His entrepreneurial journey and fashion-forward bowties have been featured on the “Steve Harvey Show,” “Shark Tank” and on “The Real.” Now, at seventeen, Bridges is ready to share his pattern for success in his debut book, Mo’s Bows: A Young Person’s Guide to Start-Up Success: Measure, Cut, Stitch Your Way to a Great Business.

“I decided to write this book to give kids an outline for how to start a business and how to overcome some of the struggles that I went through,” said Bridges. “I know when I started my career, I needed a book like this to help me take my business to the next level.”

Although perfect for young middle-grade readers, readers of all ages can glean from the book’s BOWS of Business: Believe in yourself, take the Opportunity to give back, Work hard/study hard, and have Support from friends and family. With a foreword by Shark Tank mentor and New York Times best-selling author, Daymond Jones, this book will help aspiring entrepreneurs stitch together their own story of success.

“Being able to share my story and inspiring other kids to be little “Mo’s” is rewarding. When I was little, I only saw people working for other people so it’s amazing to change that perspective,” said Bridges.

Now that he can soon add author and high school graduate to his resume, what’s next for Bridges?

“I want to keep creating new lines of ties and trying to reinvigorate what ties can look like,” Bridges said. “Then, I just want to just focus on college and the admissions process.”

All budding entrepreneurs and mini-moguls can meet Bridges as he signs and discusses his book at his official launch on October 19th at Novel. The event is free and for all ages.
