Fireworks in Memphis & Flamin’ Hot Happenings

We’re here for the fireworks and food—and most importantly the fun that a three-day weekend in Memphis has to offer!

It’s baseball with a BANG! The Memphis Redbirds are bringing folks together for four full days of cookouts and colorful KABOOMS! There will be all-you-can eat buffets, an assortment of freebies for fans, kids activities, and, of course, post-game fireworks!

They’re saying it’ll be the largest fireworks demonstration in C-Ville history, and we love to see it!

Head to HW Cox Park where there’ll be food vendors keeping you fed, Alice Hasen & the Blaze and the Soul Shockers keeping you entertained before bursts of beautiful colors paint the sky once the sun sets.

The King lit up the stage, so it only makes sense that Graceland‘s lighting up the sky.

In addition to featured festivities like The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Concert,  Gospel Brunch, a sing-along screening of Viva Las Vegas, a Private BBQ Dinner, and more, they’re capping off the weekend with a free, family-friendly party on Sunday where the fireworks will fly high over the red, white, and blue [suede shoe] mansion.

Since Mud Island is still in the midst of its makeover, Memphis River Parks has partnered with the City of Memphis, Oakview Group, Liberty Land Stadium, and the Downtown Memphis Commission to host the  the city’s official fireworks show at Liberty Park!

It’s free for all to attend (and park!) and the lineup of events include live music from local musicians like Jonte Mayon & Friends, a set from DJ Zoom, plus plenty of playtime activities for the kids like face-painting, carnival games, a family-friendly movie showing, and more.

The big bang begins at 9PM.

Their annual extravaganza is back at the Bartlett Performing Arts & Conference Center from 6PM-10PM. The evening will kick off with music by Kevin and Bethany Paige, and the Bartlett Community Concert Band as participants sprawl out on the lawn or grab grub from local food trucks.

Once the sun goes down, the sky will be lit, so make sure you secure a good seat for the show.
