ARTIST LINEUP

John Nemeth

Drawing from his strong influences in blues and R&B, as well as contemporary sounds in hip hop and rock & roll, John creates music that is personal as well as universal, and owes its origin to no one but John Németh.

John’s songs are groove and melody-driven, laced with thoughtful lyrics and nuanced humor, and cover themes from social issues of gun violence and class values to the pure hedonistic joy of dancing, sexuality and marijuana. He creates his songs from melodies and phrases he draws from the sounds of life, from early-morning Memphis songbirds to the din of the city.

Sarah Spain

Sarah Spain was born and raised in Memphis and prides herself on being a Memphis-made musician.

At a young age, Sarah fell in love with the eclectic blend of 60’s rock and 80’s alternative that constantly played throughout her childhood. Despite starting out as a classical pianist, her teen years consisted of playing in every rock band that would take her. She draws inspiration from influential women such as Ann Wilson, Joni Mitchell, Debby Harry, and Stevie Nicks. Now, at 23, Sarah is a full-time musician – performing, songwriting, and doing studio work for various Memphis artists.

Deion Corley

Deion Corley comes from St. Louis Missouri and has found his home in Memphis.

From a young age, music has always been in the background. Starting on trombone in 3rd grade, he relied on his ear and the slide position of who was to his right or left. He then played bass in a jazz band, which then led him to playing bass in a band with friends growing up. Naturally, the guitar was the next instrument he gravitated toward. After playing covers and mixing in some original music written with his 7th grade band, he found his love for songwriting. In Memphis, he was able to hone in on his writing and composition. Inspired by songwriters like John Prine, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zant, and Malcolm Holcombe. He writes from his life experiences, and the experience of life. His Debut EP titled, Dirt From The Broken Road recorded at Memphis Magnetic Recording Co, is a collection of songs that showcase the raw and true feeling of his music.
