Arrow Creative – Marketing and Media Intern (year-round)

Job Description

Seeking a motivated marketing/PR enthusiasts to join our team. Successful candidate will work collaboratively with Arrow and Memphis Fashion Week to produce compelling press releases and social media posts to support marketing efforts. Candidate will work to create cohesive story telling of the Arrow mission: make art accessible to inspire the creative spirit in all Memphians. To do this, candidate must be a part of the Arrow team, on-site, to be immersed in creative classes, studio artists, retail store and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Work to follow the corporate brand standard

• Work with team to capture images and tell compelling stories

• Produce projects from concept to finished production

• Manage project times

• Work collaboratively as part of a team

• Create event and and business excitement through daily promotions, marketing, pr and sales strategies

• Assisting with planning and promoting special events

• Co-working with Event Sponsorship liaison in creating cohesive sponsor collaboration

• Management of online community

• Exploring and analyzing social media and advertising

• Managing content creation

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proper english and grammar

• Photography and videography skills

• Previous social media/PR experience, including facebook and instagram

• Experience with marketing analytics

• Previous press release or business writing experience

• Able to adapt team recommendations and suggestions

• Detail Oriented

• Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team

• Ambitious with Strong Work Ethic and Willingness to Learn

• Self-Starter with Problem Solving Skills

• Have a positive attitude, self motivated work ethic

• Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Canva, and Wix

Job Types: Part-time, contract

15-20 hours a week needed for this position
