Our vision is to create a smaller, fairer, more humane criminal justice system. <strong>Come make an impact at Just City!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the <strong>Program Coordinator<\/strong>, you will be responsible for performing daily activities associated with the Memphis Community Bail Fund and the Clean Slate Program, including but not limited to the following: manage a web portal, phone line, and email address for referrals to the bail fund; review referrals for eligibility; post cash bail for accepted clients; establish and maintain contacts with the appropriate Shelby County criminal justice system stakeholders; field expungement eligibility inquiries and direct applicants accordingly. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional, and capable of managing a varied workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.<strong> This is you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the Program Coordinator, you will report to the Program Manager. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for collecting and maintaining data for both program areas. The Coordinator will work out of Just City\u2019s office in Memphis. The position may include some limited travel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How You\u2019ll Fulfill Your Mission\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Serve:<\/strong> field expungement and bail inquiries, ensuring prompt turnaround for clients and attorneys<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lead<\/strong>: manage web portals, phone line, and email addresses for referrals<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deliver:<\/strong> conduct and record banking transactions, account for cash flow of the bail fund, and post cash bail for accepted clients.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborate:<\/strong> maintain relationships with Shelby County criminal justice system stakeholders, Shelby County Public Defenders, General Sessions and Criminal Court Clerks, and any other future involved parties.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Engage:<\/strong> communicate with clients and referring attorneys before and after bail out.
