Ephraim Urevbu, a Nigerian born artist and owner of Art Village Gallery, in partnership with Peter and Rita Howard of Crown Winery, and local investors Chris Albonetti and Linda Harris, are taking advantage of a new state law that allows a winery to establish a satellite tasting room.
Ephraim has been a pioneer and a driving force behind the historic arts district on South Main for years. This will be the first venture of this kind anywhere in the state, and a great addition to the growing business development already taking place on South Main.
Crown Winery has over 23 acres of grapes and 7 varietals built on a state of the art agricultural operation that features its own unique trellis system. There is a variety of grapes consisting of French/American hybrids.
