Get ready to raise your glasses, Memphis!
Memphis, get ready to celebrate the ninth annual Wine on the River on October 5, 2024, from 5–9 p.m. at Tom Lee Park. Presented by Lincoln of Memphis, this event invites you to explore wines from around the world while enjoying local food, live music, and supporting the local nonprofit, Door of Hope, which works to end homelessness in Memphis.
What to Expect at Wine on the River 2024
This year’s theme, “Around the World,” brings wines from national and international vineyards to your glass. Local food trucks and restaurants like Trap Fusion, Smurfey’s Smokehouse, and Ivory LeShore Bread Pudding will be on-site to complement your wine tastings. Plus, the exclusive Tasting Hour offers an educational wine class for those who want to take their experience up a notch.
Big Sue from K97, along with other iHeartMedia Memphis personalities, will host the event. Attendees can groove to live performances by the Marcus Malone Band and the Lucky 7 Brass Band, adding to the energy of the night.
Cheers to a great cause
As much as Wine on the River is about indulging in great wine, food, and music, it’s also about giving back to the community. This year, a portion of ticket sales will go to Door of Hope, a Memphis-based nonprofit working tirelessly to provide housing and support services for the city’s most vulnerable populations. Homelessness is a pressing issue in our community, and Door of Hope’s mission is to help those who are often overlooked and offer them the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
