For the 5th year in a row, Memphis Black Restaurant Week returns to highlight an array of black-owned dining experiences that’ll have those tastebuds singing from March 8th through March 14th.

This year’s lineup includes 11 restaurants and boasts a variety of cuisines and specialties. From old faithfuls like The Four Way and Chef Tam’s Underground Cafe to Flava House, Curry N Jerk, and more newly added participants, we’ve been given seven days to stray away from our scheduled lineup of eats to eat, empower, and engage with minority, small-business owners.

P.S. To add more bang for your buck, many establishments are offering two-course lunch specials for $15 and three-course dinner specials for $25.

“We are so excited about the buzz around this celebration of our city’s diversity,” said MBRW founder, Cynthia Daniels. “Over the past four years, a total of 44 restaurants were featured, bringing in a total of $1,025,000 during the weekly sales and created 190 jobs. The City of Memphis – Office of Business Diversity &Compliance serves as the Title Sponsor of MBRW and will be working with restaurateurs to provide employment resources and training as we prepare for our largest week to date.”
