What does “Life After Cars” look like in Memphis?

Next Monday, March 16, the “War on Cars” podcast hosts are coming to Memphis on their book tour! This isn’t your standard book reading — Doug and Sarah will join us at novel at 6pm to talk about what they’ve experienced in Memphis as it relates to transportation and city design. This is a FREE event and you’ll get to learn about their new book and purchase your own copy of Life After Cars to support a local business and our wonderful host, novel! We can’t wait to be in the audience surrounded by safe streets advocates in Memphis!

Not sure about these “War on Cars” folks? Don’t worry, they aren’t advocating to ban all cars, but instead seek “to lure audiences into a more nuanced conversation about America’s harmful and deeply auto-centric transportation culture” (Streetsblog).

Open your favorite podcast app and try listening to one of these podcast episodes to get a taste of their style:

Hope to see you on Monday!

Sincerely,

Jackson McNeil & Kelsey Huse
