Ways to Celebrate Oktoberfest in Memphis 2018

Memphians look alive! Fall is upon us and that means plenty of fabulous Oktoberfest events are headed your way. Check out our list below!

Das Brat Burger at Hoppdoddy – Available all September through October 5th

This German-themed burger includes a brat + potato patty with a Bavarian-style apple/cabbage slaw, lingonberry preserves and Oktoberfest pickled mustard seeds. (Meaning the mustard seeds are pickled with the High Cotton Oktoberfest bier) The same bier was chosen to pair perfectly the Das Brat, and beginning on day 1 of Oktoberfest, Sept. 22, through Oct. 5, the Das Brat + bier will be only $10 all day, every day.

Oktoberfest at Railgarten – Saturday, September 22 at 11am to 2 am

Railgarten Oktoberfest this year will feature Mighty Souls Brass Band & Side Street Steppers. On top this they’ll have All Star Musicians Endless Beer, Hammerschlagen, Keg Tossing, and more! This event is free to enter and all ages are permitted however you must be 21+ to drink.

Oktoberfest at Ghost River Brewing Co – Saturday 22 – 12pm to 11pm

Ghost River will have Oktoberfest on tap, P.S I 💛 U, and Imperial Brown Ale 9.8 % makes its return. Enjoy live music, games, and more.

Oktoberfest at High Point Pub – Saturday, September 22 at 5:30 pm to 1 am

It’s time for Oktoberfest! Head to High Point Pub for lots of brats, potato salad, sauerkraut, cucumber salad and German beer of course.

Wiseacre Brewing Co. OktoberFest – Saturday, September 29 at 1 pm to 10 pm

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Wisacre! Beer Choir Memphis and The Mighty Souls Brass Band will be there for musical fun along with Gourmade , El Mero Taco and Rogue Chefs food trucks. Stay tuned for more details on costume contests and beer specials.

Beer Choir “OktoberFest” Sing – Saturday, September 29 at 4 pm to 6 pm

Beer Choir is a social singing event open to all. The concept is simple: you get a beer, find a seat, and get lead through a little over an hour of drinking songs from an official songbook. You can bring a group or you can come solo. No rehearsing, no stress, just brews and songs. The new Beer Choir Hymnal 1.5 is available as a free .pdf download here.

5th Annual Oktoberfest at High Cotton Brewing Co – Sunday, September 30 – 12pm to 5pm

High Cotton will be pouring cold Oktoberfest and so much more from 12-5. This event is all ages and pups are welcome. They’ll be offering specialty beers brewed just for the day as well as delicious Bavarian fare made by the excellent crew at Edge Alley. Live Music from DEVIL TRAIN and other local musicians throughout the day. Football on the big screen all day long so you don’t miss the action. Drink specials, Oktoberfest Steins and other Ofest Merch will be available the day of.

Crosstoberfest – Saturday, October 6 at 2 pm to 7 pm

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Crosstoberfest at Crosstown Brewing Co.! Crosstown Brewing will be selling beer for $5, including their special Oktoberfest beer and there will be plenty of food options. Enjoy live music by Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, The Oompahsters, James and the Ultrasounds, and Objekt12. Plus, there will be family games, face painting, a photo booth, spin art, a caricature artist, and more.
