The Memphis-born coffee company will officially open the doors to its newest location at 1227 S. Germantown Road on Thursday, October 10th, bringing Ramblin’ Joe’s coffee, food, specialty drinks and its welcoming community-focused atmosphere to the Germantown area.
The new Germantown café marks another chapter in the growth of a company with more than 50 years of Memphis history. Founded in Memphis and now in its third generation, Ramblin’ Joe’s has built its brand around coffee, hospitality, and its belief that a coffee shop should be more than a place to grab a drink.
“We’re excited to become part of the Germantown community,” said founder David Lambert. “We’ve been a Memphis company since the beginning, and every new location gives us another opportunity to meet new people, build relationships, and serve great coffee. We can’t wait to welcome Germantown through our doors.”
The new location will feature Ramblin’ Joe’s full café experience, including its coffee, specialty beverages, breakfast and lunch offerings, along with seasonal favorites. The cafe will have a larger seated area for working and studying than the previous locations in Memphis while keeping the personality that has become part of the Joe’s Way experience.
“Ramblin’ Joe’s has always been about people,” said Megan Lambert, Operations Director. “We want people to walk into our cafés and feel like they belong there. Germantown is a community we’re excited to be part of, and we’re looking forward to making this location their new coffee stop.”
This opening also continues Ramblin’ Joe’s broader growth throughout the Memphis area and beyond. The company is continuing to expand in Tennessee as well as opening a new store in Houston, Texas next year, all while maintaining its Memphis roots and its commitment to community involvement.
