On Saturday, March 29th, us ladies brought out our flowiest attire, gawked over perfect bouquets, and discussed the courage-the boldness it takes to take charge of your career. Create Yours: Women’s Empowerment Brunch was an incredible experience hosted by Choose901: Alumni that brought together vendors, esteemed panelists, alumni, and just women, together in one place to celebrate the steps we have taken/are taking to create the life we want.
A TOAST TO CREATING YOURS
If you’re reading this, raise your not-so-fancy drink of choice and let’s toast…
“To the women in this room: may we uplift each other, may we chase our dreams fearlessly, and may we always remember that our voices, our stories, and our journeys matter.”
The power of create yours
The Choose901: Alumni team worked tirelessly to create an impactful experience for alumni, professionals, and women of all kinds. Their vision was to host an events where women could come together and inspire each other, learn from one another, and discuss how to navigate their careers in different stages of life. Speaking from first-hand experience, they more than exceeded that goal. So many connections were fostered at Create Yours that might not have happened otherwise. Even though it was a cloudy cool day, we left the event on fire (figuratively) and ready to take on whatever life throws at us!
that's the power of create yours!
big business at create yours
We made bouquets, we had brunch, we toasted, but most importantly, we connected with each other! After our five panelists brought the house down with their inspiring stories, we couldn’t wait learn more about how to support one another. As the photo says, we were handling BIG BUSINESS.
A special thanks to…
