The Most Famous Foster Dad Comes to Memphis!

An Army of Normal Folks and Agape Child & Family Services are presenting a live interview in Memphis on August 20th with Peter Mutabazi, the most famous foster dad in America!

He has more than 2.5 million followers across social media platforms. His handle is @FosterDadFlipper

Coach Bill Courtney, host of An Army of Normal Folks and subject of the Oscar-winning documentary Undefeated, will be interviewing Peter about his extraordinary story.

Originally from Uganda, Peter ran away from an abusive home at age 10 and lived as a street kid for nearly 5 years. Today, the single dad has adopted 3 kids, fostered 47 kids, and he’s in the process of adopting 3 more kids!

A group of five people, including a foster dad, two children in sunglasses, and two other adults, sit on stairs with two dogs. Everyone is smiling.

To be fully available for these children, Peter left traditional work and became a house flipper, which allows him the flexibility to respond to emergency foster needs. Hence the name, Foster Dad Flipper!

Peter is also the author of the book “Love Does Not Conquer All: And Other Surprising Lessons I Learned as a Foster Dad to More Than 40 Kids”. We will be providing complimentary copies of the book to attendees and Peter will be signing them after the interview for those interested.

The event from 11:30am-1pm at Agape Child & Family Services’ office is a part of An Army of Normal Folks’ “Lunch & Listen” series, where folks are welcome to bring their lunch and enjoy interviews with some of the most heroic Americans. If they can’t make the whole interview, they are more than welcome to still join.

Only 75 spots are available, so make sure to RSVP today at FosterDadFlipper.Eventbrite.com

Come get inspired with us!
