Just as the backbone is the body’s center for activity and movement, Midtown is Memphis’ center of activity and movement for our public transportation system.  So with this study, we’re all about Connecting Memphis from the Inside Out.
It’s got a catchy new name, and you can have a say in exactly how it happens. The MAC is what the project is being called searching for answers about creating transportation connections in and around the midtown area and adjacent communities. So what can you do? There are public meetings coming up so you can speak up about what you’d like to see in transportation in the study area (Midtown and some adjacent communities). Details are below.
Next Public Meeting:
When: Thursday, July 16th, 5:30 pm – 7 pm
Where: Benjamin Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Avenue
Who: Everyone is encouraged to attend
