The Link Up Memphis Celebrates 8 Years with Link Up & Sync Weekender

Memphis knows how to connect people. For the past eight years, The Link Up Memphis has been the city’s go-to space for professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs to come together, collaborate, and build real relationships. And this year, they’re taking it up a notch.

On September 19–20, 2025, The Link Up will debut its inaugural Link Up & Sync Weekender, a two-day experience designed to inspire, empower, and celebrate Memphis’ entrepreneurs, creatives, and more.

More Than Networking

Founder Milton Howery III says it best:

“This isn’t just networking. We’ve built a true community in Memphis where thousands of people have connected, learned, and grown together. Some have launched new careers, others formed lasting friendships, and many entrepreneurs have gained new clients. Link Up & Sync is about elevating that experience, creating even more opportunities to learn, connect, and collaborate.”

Since 2017, The Link Up has connected more than 10,000 people, fostering an inclusive, diverse, and intentional space to build professional relationships. It’s become a Memphis staple—not just for locals, but also for newcomers eager to plug into the city. Haydn Corrodus, who recently moved from the UK, found his Memphis community through The Link Up:

“Moving to a new city can be challenging, so my first priority was finding a place to build a network. The Link Up was my first stop, and it immediately opened the door to meaningful relationships.”

The weekend wraps with music, dancing, an expert panel, and the signature “Link Up” vibes. It’s a celebration of eight years of connection, collaboration, and culture in Memphis.

This year, The Link Up is also teaming up with the Chamber Young Professionals Council of the Greater Memphis Chamber to make the 8th Anniversary Celebration even bigger. Together, they’re bringing Memphis’ next generation of leaders and changemakers into the mix—creating a space where young professionals can connect, celebrate, and keep pushing the city forward.

Why It Matters

The Link Up has never been just about exchanging business cards—it’s about building a stronger Memphis. From bringing together creative minds to giving entrepreneurs a stage, this weekender is about pushing the city forward, together.
