About Kenneth Whalum 

Kenneth Whalum is a Memphis-born singer, songwriter, and saxophonist whose music blends soul, jazz, and alternative styles with emotional depth. He has toured and recorded with icons including Al Green, Isaac Hayes, Jay-Z, Maxwell, D’Angelo, Beyoncé, and Mac Miller, contributing to Grammy-winning and chart-topping projects. His collaborations span artists such as Juicy J, Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, and Trey Anastasio, and he recently appeared at Hermès Home Twist Home event in Los Angeles and on Saturday Night Live. His forthcoming album, This Might Hurt, set for release in 2026, represents his  most personal work yet.
