The Collective Blueprint Highlights Employer Partners Powering Memphis Forward

The Collective Blueprint (TCB) proudly recognizes employers and community partners who are creating meaningful opportunities for young adults across Memphis. Through collaboration and mentorship these partners are helping build a stronger, more inclusive workforce.

TCB connects emerging talent ages 18-30 with professional opportunities and supports employers committed to investing in the next generation of Memphis leaders. Together, these partnerships strengthen the city’s economic future.

Employer Spotlights: Partners Building Brighter Futures

The Collective Blueprint’s success is powered by the employers who open their doors to young talent, offering guidance, mentorship and opportunities for growth. These featured partners exemplify the spirit of collaboration and community leadership that defines our city.

Cxffeeblack

Cxffeeblack, founded in 2019 by Bartholomew Jones and Renata Henderson, is a social enterprise dedicated to returning coffee to its African roots and building an equitable Black future. Through the Career Experience Program, Cxffeeblack provided interns with hands-on experiences, from coffee-making to creative activities, while building transferable skills and confidence.

Reflecting on the partnership, Co-Founder Renata Henderson shared, “The best part was working closely with the interns and providing education around our values and processes. They were motivated, communicative, and deeply engaged in our vision. We really enjoyed having them here and look forward to working with The Collective Blueprint again.”

Big Momma’s and Granny’s Catering

Big Momma’s and Granny’s, founded in 2008, celebrates the legacy of two remarkable women through soulful Southern cooking rooted in family and tradition. Through her partnership with The Collective Blueprint, Owner Tanocha Thedford created a warm and encouraging space where interns felt welcomed and supported while gaining hands-on experience in the food and catering industry. Her commitment to uplifting emerging talent reflects both the spirit of her business and our shared mission.

2Unique Community Salvation Foundation

Founded in 2005, 2Unique Community Salvation Foundation was established to bridge the gap between personal talent and employment opportunities by providing socially enriching educational programs and initiatives. That mission came to life through Samuel’s journey. As a TCB intern, his passion for music translated into purpose when he contributed to 2Unique Magazine by transcribing an article based on an interview with actor Omar Gooding. After recognizing his potential, 2Unique invited Samuel to join its Digital Skills, Education, and Workforce Training Program, where he built new skills. During his time there he also earned his Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification while building transferable skills and exploring new career paths.

Roshunda Buchanan, founder of 2Unique Boutique, shared, “The Collective Blueprint provided not just a program, but a foundation—support, accountability, and real opportunities. It helped participants elevate their leadership, expand their vision, and feel fully prepared for their careers.”
