Shoutout to Memphis rapper K. Carbon for lifting up the local Black-owned businesses with a special pop-up event! This event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and support the amazing entrepreneurs in our community. From unique fashion and art to delicious food and wellness products, the experience really spotlighted the creativity and resilience of Memphis’ Black business owners.

5. Orange Mound Splash Pad Opens

Summer just got a whole lot cooler in Orange Mound! The Orange Mound Splash Pad is now reopened, offering families a refreshing and fun way to enjoy some of this Memphis heat. Bring the kids, pack a picnic, and splash the day away at this awesome new spot! The splash pad is located at 2430 Carnes Road
