NPR Tiny Desk contest winners, Tank and the Bangas, are bringing their Spoken Word and Soul to the 901 for Memphis’s Soul Aid on May 27th.

Soul Aid is a new event and experience to fundraise for the annual Soulsville USA Festival. Tank and the Bangas who competed against nearly 6,000 artists/groups in the 2017 NPR Tiny Desk Contest will perform along with other special guests.

Tank and the Bangas are a New Orleans musical group that formed in 2011 at an open mic set, of all places! They are a unique group that will capture your attention with their creative and soulful Spoken Word along with the raw vocal talent. From soft Spoken Word to an energetic R&B rendition, Tank and the Bangas will keep surprising you in the best way. Soul Aid will be a show you don’t want to miss!
