Indie Memphis and Crosstown Arts presents Shoot & Splice, a monthly filmmaking forum allowing local artists the chance to network and enjoy some intriguing conversations. On January 5th the event will feature a panel discussion about Video Journalism and How Documentaries Create Awareness and Change.

Panelists include Noah Glenn, the creative manager of City Leadership (and Choose901), along with Mark Hackett, the Executive Director of Operation Broken Silence and Andrea Morales, the Memphis based documentary and photojournalist. They will chat and explore the ways they have used documentaries to convey organizational messages and video journalism while also explaining what they both mean in this day and age.
