Downtown Memphis is getting its very own gelato and crepe shop! Scoops Parlor is owned and operated by husband and wife duo QuaSheba Jones-Callicutt and Terrance Callicutt. Their cooking team consists of Chef Ebony Upshaw and Mrs. Feleisha Mason. Scoops Parlor is located at 106 GE Patterson Avenue (across from Cheesecake Corner).

Scoops Parlor is a happy little place where you can build your own savory and sweet crepes with a side of locally crafted gelato, with flavors like Tennessee Whiskey, Nutella, and Strawberry Fraiche. I got to take a little sneak peek and here’s what I sampled:
First of all, the BBQ Chicken Crepe is full of quality meat and the BBQ sauce is a zesty homemade recipe. The Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe and the Peach Cobbler Crepes were both warm and gooey, with just enough sauce and plenty of fresh fruit. The side of strawberry gelato was a perfect touch.
The crepes are a “create your own” style where you can mix and match your own fillings. Scoops has patio seating available for when the weather is nice and food is grab and go for ease of eating and perfect for families and kids. Learn more in our video below:
