During the week of March 7-13, the following black owned restaurants will come together to create the inaugural Memphis Black Restaurant Week (MBRW). MBRW will include special menu deals to entice new and returning customers to check out their notable dish selections and experience their unique atmospheres, raising support and awareness. Participating restaurants will have two-course lunches for $15 and three-course dinners for $25.

MBRW is sponsored by Bubble Bistro, A Natural Affair Beauty Lounge, Phillip Ashley Chocolates, September Nail Salon, Tri-State Defender, 3iDesign Group, and Contempo Studios.

Owned by Gary Williams, this restaurant is coveted as the “home of New Orleans Creole soul food and vegetarian cuisine.” Dejavu has been featured in Memphis Flyer and is highly ranked on travel sites such as Trip Advisor and Yelp.

Contrary to what its name may lead you to assume, this restaurant (masterminded by the family of Chef Fran and Casscius Mosley) offers far more than just decadent sweets.
