Save the Date: Black In Amurica 8/26

Memphians have the opportunity to respond to current news and headlines while expressing deep emotion, pride and history in an initiative to combat racial injustices and tragedies.

Black in Amurica is hosted by The Collective which seeks to inspire and cultivate creativity within the community, to provide a platform for African American artists in Memphis to display their talents, and use that creative expression as a vehicle to uplift our community.

  • When: Friday, August 26th, 7:30pm
  • Where: Amurica (410 N Cleveland)
  • Cost: $10 donation suggested

Proceeds go to funding a local mural project that will promote unity and hope in our community. The purpose of this event is to share the narrative of the black experience in this country through music, dance, poetry, and storytelling.
