Join the Mid-South Peace & Justice Center as they celebrate 36 years of people-powered change.

This month, the Mid-South Peace & Justice Center will be honoring the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. with the Living the Legacy of Nonviolence Anniversary Gala. Organizer, journalist, scholar, and former Green Party Vice Presidential candidate Rosa Clemente will kick off the event with a keynote speech. Celebrating the legacy of MLK, Cesar Chavez, Dorothy Day, and others, the goal of this gala is to engage, organize, and mobilize people to help make Memphis a better place.
