Memphis is a place where people come together to lift each other up, and that’s exactly what’s happening with the upcoming Reset Day on March 15th. Organized by LaDell Beamon and his nonprofit, Heal the Hood Foundation, Reset Day is set to be a powerful and positive gathering designed to rejuvenate the city, inspire hope, and create new opportunities for the youth and community at large. A Day of Unity and Empowerment
Reset Day will be hosted on over seven acres of land near Hickory Ridge Middle School, this community-wide celebration will be a space for healing, joy, and action. Beamon’s vision is to create a “reset room” for Memphis, where the entire city can take a deep breath, refocus, and embrace a brighter future.
This goals of this event are shifting the narrative, showing young people the power of positivity, and reminding everyone that Memphis is a city that cares. As Beamon puts it, “Our kids are seeing a little bit too much. We need to be the example for them.”

The day will be filled with activities that bring people together, offering something for everyone in the family. Here’s a glimpse of what you can look forward to:

The goal is to raise funds throughout the day for the future Hero Empowerment Center, a dedicated space that will continue providing resources and support to Memphis youth. Donations will be welcomed but not required.
