The Redbirds are taking advantage of Auto Zone Park this weekend by opening the stadium up for a night of halloween themed fun. “Hocus Pocus” will be shown on the ballpark video board. That’s not all, there’s also going to be hayrides, trick-or-treating, and much more.
The Red Birds’ release describes “Hocus Pocus” as, “(a) Halloween cult classic – starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy – is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its 1993 release. The family-friendly comedy about a trio of witches on Halloween night in modern-day Salem, Mass. is rated PG.” The event is sponsored by The Commercial Appeal newspaper and you can still buy individual tickets for $6 or family four packs for $20. Bring a blanket, chair, and bag for trick-or-treating.
