Ramblin’ Joe’s is Giving Away Coffee to Public Servants in July

If you’re anywhere near a Ramblin’ Joe’s this month, there’s a good chance you’ll feel the buzz—and we’re not just talking about caffeine. Throughout July, Ramblin’ Joe’s Coffee is making generosity their brew of choice by giving free coffee drinks to the heroes who serve our communities every single day.

Police officers. Firefighters. EMTs. City employees. These are the folks who keep Memphis moving forward—and this month, they’re getting a well-deserved thank you. All active Public Servants can redeem a free medium drink at any Ramblin’ Joe’s location in the month of July.

Honoring every day heroes

Since kicking off the campaign, Ramblin’ Joe’s has already served up dozens of free drinks, with over 5,000 projected to be donated by the end of July. And that generosity isn’t just coming from behind the counter. They’re encouraging customers to join in too—pre-purchasing craft drinks for local public servants as a way to say, “We see you. We appreciate you.”

“Our customers are very excited about this opportunity,” said David Lambert, owner of Ramblin’ Joe’s Coffee. “In the last three days alone, we’ve received dozens of donations. People really appreciate the chance to give back to their local heroes.”

This movement is part of Joe’s Way, the internal compass that guides everything they do. July’s spotlight is on Principle #4: Support Your Community.

“As a company it’s our prerogative to show up for our neighbors, it’s not just something we say, we live by it every day. Part of Joe’s Way is supporting our community and doing our part to give back. We’re grateful for the everyday heroes who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. It’s our turn to serve them and let them know their work matters,” said Megan Lambert, Operations Manager of Ramblin’ Joe’s.

How Ramblin’ Joe’s Brews Generosity Year-Round

This is not the first time Ramblin’ Joe’s has stepped up to serve Memphis. Just this spring, in partnership with Teach901, Ramblin’ Joe’s teamed up with Bank3 and City Leadership to deliver coffee to 12 schools and 615 teachers during TCAP week. That’s over six hundred educators fueled up and feeling seen during one of the most stressful weeks of the school year.

That philosophy shines year-round, too—Ramblin’ Joe’s is one of Teach901’s We Love Teachers partners, offering ongoing discounts to teachers and finding new ways to serve local schools.
