“I bring the luxxuriousness to Memphis and to Memphis music,” he says. “It’s a certain type of je ne sais quoi cool factor, honest factor, relatability factor. I accomplish anything I do in such a fly way, and I feel confident in myself. That’s what I add to the Memphis music scene.”

As one of the earliest members of UNAPOLOGETIC., PreauXX has grown up with the collective…literally.
“I found myself growing from a boy to a man under the tutelage of the messaging of what it means to be unapologetic,” he says. “Having IMAKEMADBEATS as an influence has just made me a better human being. I wouldn’t live my life the same way if I weren’t a part of UNAPOLOGETIC.”
The mission statement became a framework for life.
🏙️ Memphis: The City That Made Him
PreauXX will tell you Memphis made him tough.
“Growing up in Memphis made me tough. It’s literally the city of grit and grind,” he says. “You have to be extremely confident and know who you are to be different in Memphis, because they have no filter in calling you out for being corny or different.”
The city’s raw honesty pushed him to develop a strong work ethic, a bold personality, and an unshakable sense of self. His decision to build his creative career here wasn’t some grand, calculated move. Rather, it was a natural fit.
“Honestly, it just kind of happened that way,” he admits. “But I found purpose in being in Memphis. It forced me to be on my grind.”

Ask him for a favorite UNAPOLOGETIC. project, and PreauXX can’t narrow it down to one. Instead, he points to an entire series.
“Our Stuntarious series. Each one is a chapter of who UNAPOLOGETIC. is,” he says. “I can’t pick just one because they all matter.”
Each installment captured a moment in the collective’s journey, and each one carried the signature mix of artistry, authenticity, and boundary-pushing that defines the UNAPOLOGETIC. Brand.
🚀 Looking Toward the Next 10 Years
As UNAPOLOGETIC. celebrates its 10th anniversary this August, PreauXX is thinking beyond the party. He’s focused on the next generation.
“I’m excited to see what this new generation looks like, how they carry on the same mission statement we did for the past 10 years,” he says. “As the veteran I am, that comes with pride and a sense of duty. We have to carry this mantle onward and upward.”
He’s ready to step into a mentorship role, guiding, supporting, and making sure the mission stays intact while new voices and fresh ideas take center stage.
