Card keepers are one of my favorite items to custom create. They are super utilitarian and can be used to hold business cards or credit cards (making money vs spending money;) for easy access. I rather enjoy making them to fit someone’s personality, business persona, specific requests, or to compliment another commonly used item in someone’s collection (like a bag, journal, or pair of shoes)! 🔜 You can visit me during the month of February at POST 121 @shoppost121 inside the @crosstownconcourse to see what I’m working on IRL, and make your own custom leather requests… since I’ll have a work table set up in the retail shop! It’s gonna be fun y’all! •Keep an eye out for hours and retail contributors in the coming weeks. And follow @shoppost121 for stories and the inside scoop as we turn an empty, metal studded, retail bay into a fascinating shopping experience! #sundryblossoms #crosstownconcourse #sundrybs #wallet #cardkeeper #leather #customleathermemphis #memphismaker #craftyourcity #madeinmemphis #memphis #tn #tennessee #leaves #greenery #layers #grow

Colby Sturgis will have products available from The Plant Lab and plans to host workshops in the space.

Culturally inspired design by David Quarles IV. Various jewelry pieces will be available.

As a collection of small business owners, POST 121 collaborators are transitioning into Crosstown Concourse with great respect and awe for the community and placemaking capacity that has grown there in just a few years.

These things don’t just happen because of big spaces and budgets. Spaces become places when a sense of belonging is fostered, and we are excited to see that come to life in the building. While we each have dreams and big ideas to make our individual businesses thrive, we recognize that we are stronger and happier when we lift each other up! POST 121 was created (and named) to define the intent to both have and be a supportive pillar. It is a declaration that together we are strong, united in our efforts to create value through products and projects that enhance lives.

Yes, it’s a retail shop with displays and merchandise crafted for beauty and utility, but it’s much more than just design-forward thinking. This post is a sturdy upright from which to build community and vitality with our cohorts! — Grace Byeitima, Owner, Mbabazi House of Style Memphis

POST 121 will open on Friday, February 1st. A Grand Opening Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 2 from 4 pm – 7 pm and will feature live music by Tonya Dyson. Regular shop hours for the remainder of the month are TBA. Follow POST121 on Instagram for updates.
