Play Where You Stay Fall Soccer League Registration is Open

Play Where You Stay is a co-ed developmental soccer program for children in grades kindergarten-5.

The program brings coaches and equipment to a park or a lot in a neighborhood and hosts training sessions five days a week. Families have the flexibility to go anywhere from once a week to all five days. The cost is $10 per week to participate, though no one is ever turned away if they can’t pay.

You may remember that back in the spring, we spoke to Play Where You Stay about the work they’re doing to make soccer more accessible for families in Memphis. At the time, they were hoping to expand the program to serve more children in more neighborhoods. We’re happy to share that through donations and family contributions they’ve not only sustained the program but have managed to add more sites and multiple coaches in time for the launch of their fall league.

Play Where You Stay’s Fall Season will run 9 weeks from August 26 – November 1 at six locations. You can see them all here: https://www.playwhereyoustay.org/find-a-field/. The program is on rolling enrollment so you can sign up and show up anytime during the season.

In addition to the daily play, Play Where You Stay will also host neighborhood Game Days:
• September 28 at Early Maxwell Field
• October 19 at Klondike Park
• November 9 at Treadwell Park
• November 16 at Binghampton Park (girls only)

To sign up to play, go to playwhereyoustay.org. Payments can be submitted through the website or to coaches onsite.
