Now is the Time. Memphis is the Place.

Pitch Your Peers at the National Civil Rights Museum

There are so many talented and amazing artists in the city of Memphis who simply do not have the resources, opportunities or professional guidance to truly achieve their highest potential. You may know of a dance troupe that needs rehearsal space or a new startup company that needs computers.

Don’t you wish there was a way for you to nominate individuals who need that extra push? Well, ArtsMemphis, an organization that thrives on advocating for the arts, has started Pitch-Your-Peers as a way to garner support around arts organizations. On Monday, November 2nd at 5:00 pm at the National Civil Rights Museum, five individuals will have five minutes to pitch their need. Think rehearsal space, costumes, technology, or administrative services. Each presenter will have 5 minutes: A two-minute pitch, two minutes for questions and one minute to make closing remarks.

If you think you have what it takes, please send your proposals in by Friday, October 16th to Lauren Boyer at lboyer@artsmemphis.org.

Also, don’t forget to RSVP for the event HERE.
