Now is the Time. Memphis is the Place.

Join The Party: Paint the Block 8/23 – 8/25

Have you ever wanted to paint the town red, literally?

Now is your chance to do so thanks to the Downtown Memphis Commission and local artist Siphne Aaye!

With an understanding that locals in the city want an opportunity to leave their mark and beautify their neighborhoods, the DMC and Aaye are joining forces to host a paint party to create a new, temporary mural on the wall surrounding 100 N. Main.

Aaye designed the mural with an easy ‘paint by number’ system that allows community members to sign up for one of the painting parties and paint a section of the mural that can proudly be claimed as their own.
