Calling all musicians, filmmakers, writers, and visual and performing artists: Crosstown Arts wants to help you connect with other Memphis artists and the broader creative community!
The Crosstown Arts residency program is now accepting applications for new residents in Memphis, Tennessee. Whether you’re a visiting creative or a Memphis-based artist, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in public engagement activities, collaborate and network with other local and traveling makers like yourself, and have access to your own private studio workspace and on-site shared, art-making space in Crosstown Concourse, with provided meals six days a week, all at a cost of absolutely nothing!
*Participants must provide their own materials and transportation to and from Memphis*
The residency takes place in three-month sessions during the fall and spring, and 20-day sessions in the summer with a choice between live/work residency space and student-only residency space. An application fee of $10 is submitted at the end of each application, and anyone 21 years or older is welcomed to apply.
Applications are open until July 15th, and applicants will be notified by September 1st.
