Since 2005, Su Casa Ministries has worked to bridge the gap between first generation Hispanic immigrants and resident Memphians—and in response to the pandemic, the work at their Early Childhood Center is needed now more than ever.
With virtual learning continuing with no end date in sight, Su Casa is combatting learning loss for its youngest learners with Su Caja or “Your Box,” a pre-school activity box, available in English and in Spanish, for ages 1-4 that contains everything needed for four days of learning and activities.
There’s no lesson planning needed and no teaching experience required, because the teachers at Su Casa have taken care of all the work. They just need your in help in getting these materials to those students who need them most.
For just $25, you could sponsor a Neighbor Box for a local student that includes books, daily lesson cards, and other learning materials—and for $100, you could sponsor 4 boxes. Their goal is give away 25 boxes a month. Will you help them in doing so?
