MindTravel Presents: A Silent Walk Meditation at the Big River Crossing Bridge

A silent meditation walk across the Big River Crossing Bridge may not be something you’ve been looking for, but it sounds like something we could all need.

MindTravel is an immersive music and meditation experience company founded by composer and concert pianist, Murray Hidary of Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, he has used music as a segway to self-discovery and aims to bring that opportunity to other people.  After studying music and composition at NYU, Hidary decided to combine what he had learned at school with his previous studies of eastern philosophy. What started as an experience for friends in his living room, MindTravel has hosted meditation events around the world.

SilentHikes put meditation in motion; the combination of music, verbal guidance, and nature help participants form connections between themselves and the world around them. Each participant will be given wireless headphones to use during the walk that will be connected to Hidary’s real-time piano performance and guided meditation.  MindTravel’s goal is to “ignite freedom and expansiveness that amplifies the healing and inspirational power of being surrounded by beauty.”

Take a few (silent) steps out of your comfort zone and join us on Saturday, August 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for an evening of unwinding at the Big River Crossing. There is NO cost to participate, you just have to register here to reserve your spot!
