WYXR 91.7FM is hosting their very first festival, Raised By Sound Fest, on December 3rd!
This free day-long celebration will showcase local and regional talent. Much like WYXR, performing acts will represent varying genres and styles.
The day wraps up with two separate ticketed fundraising events in the Crosstown Theater and the Green Room.

11/30: Festival kick off ft. Kevin Morby
“This is a Photograph” exhibit opening. Kevin Morby returns to Memphis after photographing and writing songs inspired by the city. Be there for his one-night appearance at Memphis Listening Lab. The exhibit will be on display during the festival on the 2nd Floor of Crosstown.
DECEMBER 3RD: Festival Day
Free live performances from 1 PM to 7 PM.

Big Star’s 50th Anniversary of #1 Record featuring Jody Stephens (Big Star), Mike Mills (R.E.M.), Pat Sansone (Wilco) John Auer (The Posies) and Chris Stamey (The dB’s) in Crosstown Theater. Guest appearances from Andrew VanWyngarten (MGMT) and Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound).
DJ after-party featuring Andrew VanWyngarden and Bodywerk in the Green Room.
