Brains, walking corpses, and Beale Street come together again for the Memphis Zombie Walk on June 24th with staging beginning at 4:30 pm at Handy Park, and the zombie horde will start walking at 7:30pm.
Each year the zombie apocalypse comes to Memphis on the streets of Beale. These zombies are an incredible sight for bystanders as you can see historic Beale Street flooded with hordes of zombies. This is a family friendly apocalypse so bring your zombified kids.
The zombie walk is also collecting canned food donations and money for the Mid-South Food Bank. You can bring your donations to Handy Park before the dead start walking.
Volunteers are still needed! If you would like to help with make-up, loading donations, cleaning, traffic control or even leading the walk, then contact Memphis Zombies through their Facebook page.
