As Memphis Connect seeks to engage workers of all ages, a special emphasis has been placed on those that are about to enter the workforce. Through Memphis – The Summer Experience, college interns, graduate students and recent grads get a chance to meet peers, meet established city leaders, and most importantly…meet Memphis! Also, the events are free for those who RSVP.

June 21: Memphis 101 – A Crash Course on the City and its History- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
June 25: Leadership Training- First Tennessee Ron Terry Center 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
June 26: Stand Out and Prosper in the New World of Work- Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
June 29: South Main Trolley Tour – w/MPACT Memphis- Memphis College of Art– Nesin Graduate School 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
July 10: Guided Tour & Networking Reception-National Civil Rights Museum 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
July 13: Dollars & Sense – Financial Literacy Workshop- First Tennessee Ron Terry Center 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
July 19: Conversation w/ Mayor AC Wharton- UTHSC College of Pharmacy 11:30 a.m – 1:00p.m.
