Trollfest | Saturday, April 5 | 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Join MBG staff and their Troll friends for a day all about nature! Volunteers will run activity stations and help guide participants throughout the event. It’s a family-friendly way to get involved and engage with others while celebrating the beauty of nature.

2025 Spring Plant Sale | April 10 to April 12 | Multiple Shifts Available

It’s time for the Spring Plant Sale at MBG! Volunteers are needed to help sell plants, assist customers with advice, load cars, and keep things running smoothly. You’ll also help with the flow of the parking lot, making it a fun and fast-paced way to give back.

Two children smile and show drawings on tiles outdoors, aided by a helpful volunteer. One wears a turquoise Hello Kitty sweater, the other a light blue sweater. A blue structure and trees are in the background.

Carpenter Art Garden

provides young people with opportunities to grow through art and education. This Earth Day, you can show your support while contributing to the community:

Earth Day Community Clean-Up | Saturday, April 19 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Celebrate Earth Day in a meaningful way by joining Carpenter Art Garden’s Earth Day Community Clean-Up event. Volunteers will gather to pick up litter, beautify shared spaces, and raise awareness about the importance of keeping our neighborhoods clean. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the community while connecting with neighbors and other volunteers. Supplies and tools will be provided, so all you need to do is show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to help.

Shelby Farms Park

is a true treasure for Memphis, offering a wide range of recreational activities and green space for everyone to enjoy. This month, you can lend a hand at these Earth Day-themed events:

Earth Day Festival | Saturday, April 19 | Multiple Shifts Available
