Enjoy free music at the National Civil Rights Museum every Friday this September.
School has started for most and the Fall season is nearly upon us, which means cooler temps and the perfect weather for outdoor concerts! Right on cue, the Civil Rights Museum is gearing up to host their annual MLK Soul Concert Series for the month of September. Every Friday night from 6 pm to 8 pm the Memphis community is invited to relax on the lawn and enjoy great live music that ranges from jazz, soul, to oldies, and more. To compliment the music, spoken word artists and stand up comedians will be performing live. Concessions and souvenirs will be available inside the Lorraine Motel to go along with food trucks outside. Check out the details below and be sure to bring the whole family to what will undoubtedly be a great time.
