Meet Brooklyn Faris. She’s a 2-year-old with a rare genetic disorder who has brought Memphians, including FedEx, together to make sure she gets a new liver. So what exactly happened? Check out some of the social media about it all below.

The basic story: Brooklyn is adopted from China, a failed surgery results in her needing a liver transplant. Her Memphis family gets the call for an available transplant, but can’t get to Chicago because of weather. No big deal. This is Memphis. We have FedEx. And they get stuff done.
