Memphis Made Brewing Co. Elevates Memphis’ Beer Scene with New Website and Tours

Situated in the thriving Edge District at 16 S. Lauderdale, Memphis Made Brewing Co. is stepping up its game in the 901 with a freshly revamped website and a slate of new features designed to bring the community even closer to their craft beer roots.

A brick building with large windows, proudly showcasing the Memphis Made spirit, is lit by string lights at dusk. Picnic tables are arranged on a patio beneath trees, with a colorful sunset painting the background.

New Website, New Opportunities

The brewery’s website just got a facelift. From an always-current list of what’s on tap to a robust calendar of events, the website ensures you’re never out of the loop. Planning a special gathering? You can now book events in their taproom or even reserve The Ravine for larger celebrations. Want to rep Memphis Made? Their online store lets you stock up on gear so you can show off your local pride wherever you go.

But the biggest draw? You can now book brewery tours directly through the site—an exciting addition that’s set to kick off on February 8th.

People are gathered on a Memphis-made outdoor terrace with tables, overlooking multiple pickleball courts where several games are being played.

A Tour Worth Toasting To

Public tours are scheduled for the second and fourth week of each month. For just $10, visitors get a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process, a chance to delve into the history of Memphis beer, a souvenir pint glass, and a cold brew to sip on during the experience. It’s an affordable and interactive way to connect with Memphis Made’s story, while learning more about the city’s evolving craft beer culture.

Private tours are also available for groups looking for a more tailored experience. Rates and availability can be arranged by reaching out to the team directly at info@memphismadebrewing.com.

Brewing History, Memphis Style

When Drew Barton and Andy Ashby opened Memphis Made in Cooper-Young back in 2013, Memphis was still gaining traction as a craft beer city. According to Ashby, “Back then, people said Memphis wasn’t a good beer city, and one of the reasons we started Memphis Made was to change that perception. We spent a lot of time educating people about beer, one bar at a time.”

Fast forward to 2025, and the city now boasts 15 craft breweries in Shelby County, a testament to how far Memphis has come.

“Drew and I named the company Memphis Made to advocate for the city and highlight why we love it,” Ashby explains. “The city also has brewing history before the craft beer boom, so there’s lots to talk about.”

A Location That’s Pure Memphis

Just a stone’s throw from Sun Studio, Memphis Made Brewing Co. is perfectly positioned to cater to locals and visitors alike. Open Thursday through Sunday, the taproom is a must-visit spot for anyone exploring the Edge District’s eclectic mix of attractions. And with distribution spanning Tennessee, Missouri, and North Mississippi, Memphis Made is carrying the spirit of the 901 far and wide.

So grab a pint, book a tour, and toast to all that makes Memphis, Memphis. Cheers to supporting local, exploring history, and enjoying life in the 901.
