The Alliance of American Football is a new high-quality 8-team professional football league dedicated to developing a relationship between fans and players. On top of affordable tickets, fans will be able to stream the games for free through the Alliance app which also includes integrated fantasy options with real-money stakes. Announced today, Memphis will be getting in on the action with our new team, The Memphis Express, who are set to do battle in the Liberty Bowl. In the team’s official statement, the Express is committed to repping the city through their play on the field, and their actions off of it.

To help with this, the Express have hired NFL Hall of Famer Mike Singletary as head coach. Regarded as one of the best linebackers in NFL history, his style of coaching will likely reflect the blue-collar mentality this town is known for.
