Job Duties:

  • Maintain workers compensation claims in the HRIS system daily (includes appointment updates, restricted duty and off work status changes)
  • Track employees off work time and restrictions
  • Communicate all updates with leadership staff
  • Send collection notices and make payment arrangements
  • Generate reports for workers compensation, benefits and collection notices
  • Scan documents into the HRIS filing system
  • First responder to employees after incident and ensures open communication throughout the process
  • Monitor workers compensation email inbox
  • Backup presenter of benefits information during new hire orientation
  • Responsible for benefit projects and goals as needed

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma (required)
  • 1 year of experience …
    o Working in a corporate office setting (required)
    o Processing data and generating reports (required)
    o Presenting to large audiences (required)
    o Using a human resources management system (preferred)
    o Specializing in workers compensation (plus)


  • Demonstrate efficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service through written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to be a team player and work independently
  • Demonstrate organizational skills by managing multiple priorities and projects
  • Monitor own work to ensure quality
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
