Rhodes College is seeking an Assistant Director of Advancement Services to support the Development department. The position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a program of information management which will enhance the Advancement program and result in increased engagement and philanthropic support for Rhodes College. Duties include, but are not limited to: Serving as a resource to the Development Division on database reports and general constituent information, supporting all aspects of ensuring a successful Development Division, working closely with the Advancement Services Coordinator to help oversee gift processing, conducting prospect identification, research and management, providing briefing documents for the President and other staff as needed for individuals, corporations, and foundations, building, reviewing and executing regular and ad hoc reports, both gift and biographical, taking responsibility for data information management and integrity, batch uploads, and data pulls from other modules, coordinating data transfer to and from external databases with appropriate departments (Ex. Omatic), providing training to staff in appropriate topics, writing and maintaining reference documents related to data management and reporting, as well as hiring, training, and supervising the Advancement Services Student Associate.

Bachelor’s Degree required. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, Omatic, Banner or Workday software in a non-profit/fundraising setting as well as a working knowledge of accounting procedures preferred. Must have excellent computer skills, including the use of word-processing, database management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet use/searches. Must be willing to work in a team, demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy and a pleasant manner. Must be able to meet pressure of deadlines, perform repetitive tasks without supervision, and set priorities and organize tasks for efficiency.
