We are looking for an account manager!

The Account Manager is the marketing and communications liaison between our clients and our internal team at Paradigm Marketing & Creative. This position is responsible for the overall performance of designated accounts by managing communication, brand strategies, and monitoring budgets.This is a full-time position located in Memphis, TN.


Tend to accounts assigned – manages internal team, workflow, communication, timelines, meeting deadlines, setting and monitoring budgets, and execution of strategy. Will also attend sales meetings and client meetings.

Setting others up for success – this is a customer-service oriented role, so having a genuine interest in others, their needs, and their success / benefit  is imperative.

Maintaining lines of communication –    responsible for maintaining the lines of communication both internally and externally, so a written and verbal communication skills need to be impeccable. We expect account managers to communicate with clarity and kindness in all situations.

Writing and Brainstorming – contributes to headline and messaging brainstorms, and writing copy for a variety of clients and applications (web, social, brochures, etc)

Working Collaboratively –   Paradigm as a whole works as a team. We expect you to bring idea, speak up in team meetings, be prepared and engaged, constantly be bettering yourself as a professional and expanding your knowledge of the industry, and to be a team player

Strategic Mindset – Our Accounts team helps with brand strategy and they are constantly on the lookout for opportunities for their accounts – with advertising or engagement opportunities, working with vendors, and taking a client request and providing suggestions on how to improve upon if needed


3-5+ years’ experience within a marketing communications firm or full-service advertising agency

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, or other business related field

Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

Ability to quickly absorb, analyze large amounts of information

Enthusiastic, energetic and imaginative

Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic

Ability to present ideas with conviction

Highly organized and flexible

Comfortable working as part of a team

Basic knowledge of design terminology is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Passion, Tenacity, and Curiosity
